Ross Burnham loves the Deniliquin district and loves the land. So much so that he has made farm management and supporting farmers his career. Ross and his family are involved in a number of facets of the local community including tennis. Ross’s great sporting passion is rugby union. For almost 30 years – from 1967 to 1993, Ross worked on some of the most well known and extensive pastoral properties throughout Australia. He worked his way to the position of General Manager of a large family owned rural company based in Deniliquin. From 1993 to early 2004 Ross served with a well respected multi-national company as Branch and Merchandise Manager. His vast farming experience combined with his management expertise means Ross knows not only what farmers need and when, he knows how to get it. He wanted to be able to provide the rural merchandise, chemical and grain supply service he knew local farmers needed. In July 2004, Ross went into partnership with another Ross – experienced agronomist Ross Campion who specialises in rice, cereals, lucerne, summer crops and hay making – and the pair purchased Brown’s Rural Supplies from long time owners Lindsay and Robyn Brown. Ross Burnham and Ross Campion have seen the business grow and expand since that time. In 2006 Ross Burnham came to realise that there was also an opening in Deniliquin for a hard working, honest, customer orientated real estate business. During mid to late 2006 he obtained his real estate and stock and station agents licences and his auctioneering licence and the idea of Brown’s Rural Supplies Real Estate was born. Ross Burnham joined forces with Tony Ebeyer and Brown’s Rural Supplies Real Estate officially opened its doors for business on January 2nd 2007. Brown’s Rural Supplies now offers the residents of Deniliquin and surrounding areas not only expert agronomy, merchandise, animal health, bulk grain and chemical services, but a full rural and residential real estate service.
